Mechanical Project Engineer
Our Mechanical Project Engineers are responsible for various aspects of product
development including mechanical design, materials procurement,
feasibility hardware fabrication, and development and execution
of characterization testing. Candidates should possess 3 to 5 years
of product design/development experience, knowledge of 3-D CAD
Modeling (Pro/E, Solidworks), and working knowledge of ISO-13485
principles. Medical device industry experience is
preferred. B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering
required, M.S. preferred.
Electrical Project Engineer
Electrical Project Engineers will work on the design and development
of new electro-mechanical implantable and external medical devices
including embedded processor circuit design, analog and digital
signal processing, test protocol development, product design
testing and documentation. Candidates should have 4 to 8 years
experience developing electronic systems, be skilled in the use
of EDA tools (OrCAD preferred) and possess a working understanding
of UL or IEC 60601 electrical safety and EMC standards.
Medical device industry experience is preferred. B.S Degree in
Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
required, M.S. or Ph.D. degree preferred.
Software Project Engineer
Software Project Engineers are responsible for various
aspects of product software development including software requirements
specification, software risk assessment, design and implementation,
software code reviews and the development and execution of
software characterization testing. Candidates should have
4 + years of overall software development experience with
expertise in C, C++, C#, Linux and Windows, and a working
understanding of IEC 60601-1-4 and IEEE software development
standards. Experience in the medical device industry preferred.
B.S. Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent,
M.S. degree preferred.
